Ammonia Scrubber
The scrubbing of ammonia from the air stream can be successfully done with the use of a wet scrubber. A correctly designed scrubbing tower can offer removal efficiencies of +99%.
Q-Pac packing is used to provide a plug resistant and low pressure drop option to this problem.
Design Example:
Ammonia is release into the air from process. The fugitive fume is capturing a transported to a scrubber column. Ammonia is a known irritant and requires removal from the workplace before it gets into the workers respiratory system.
